So... last one month I spent most of my spare time to reserch and list up the restaurants make me interested, not just in europ all over the globe. As I said previous post, next couple years hopefully I can work somewhere in Europe. In the past I had some visa sponsor offers in Australia & Canada, but this time around I wonder how things work out for me. Realisticly Spain which attract me most must be real hard since my Spanish language level is 1 out of 10, so UK or any other countries more familiar to English must have better chances.
Anyway as of 06/04/10, the route for CJWDT, start from Germany, then Netherland, Belgium, Spain, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Czech
Republic, switerland and last Canada of 10 contries! Obviously Canada is not in Europe, but definely great contry, so... if europe is not working out for me, I may consider the option....well... maybe New Zealand actually!!
I may add couple more countries, possibily Ireland, Austria or Italy... still working on research. France? Well... I'm classicaly trained with French cuisine, one of the most beautiful graceful cuisine, make more sense if I go France, BUT I didn't like Paris and my French is a joke(a bitter smile and gave up to learn actually!) and wanna learn something different cuisine, so no France!!
Basically my plan is start sending my resume to the restaurant 3wk to 1 month previously
and see if there's any reaction. If no one interested in me, I may skip the area or country and turn table around. Time and budget also make differences, so I just gonna do it, I guess! One thing in my mind is I have no intension to make my resume in Spanish, German or any other, one resume in English, finito!
May sound stupid, well, sure it is! But let's say I push my limit to learn Spanish next 6wk, it never gonna match level of my English or Japanese. So practically until I get used to whatever the new language in living stiuation, English gonnna be the only sole language I can really rely on. I just thought instead of asking someone to make Spanish or German resume, I decided to send English one I made, then I just straight up say I speak English & Japanese and working Spanish, German, Chinese and all other something else!! So just send English resume and see how it goes!
Next post is CJWDT destination 1:Germany!! Germany, 2nd time for me!Labels: CJWDT'10
