CJWDT: Colombia

   After long 24hrs journey, Palo alto > SF > LA > Miami >........ here I am....  Bogota, Colombia!!!  I just got Bogota, Colombia yesterday safely.  Today I was walking around Zona rosa area, kind of hippie trendy part of Bogota... it seems not as 'city' as Mexico city.  Eating-wise so far I have Churrasco, Arepas, Ajaco(traditional Colombian potato soup), Salpicon, Lechona....  not many, way to go!  As for tomorrow I'm exciting to go to visit the biggest Colombian flea market in Usaquen, gonna check out some street foods, fruit, local produces and others!!  The picture above is carne de chiguiro(the largest rodent in the world).... one of 'must' try dish in Bogota next 6 days!!

As I listed above, I sent out some resumes to set up my stage in Bogota, but unfortunately I couldn't set up any.  I guess I'll relax a bit and pushing forward my upcoming countries.  So far I have no feedback from Quito, Ecuador restaurants as well(guessing it's quite unusual asking stage...), let me hope I get some responses from Lima restaurants I sent my resumes today!  CJWDT'13 South American tour continues......  Quito, Ecuador NEXT!!
