Beef! Wine! Maradona! That's my first thought of Argentina. Last month I was visiting Buenos aires "Paris of South America" for 8 days. The city and women(laugh) are stunning beautiful and kinda see through European roots into it. Food-wise Bueno aires have many parrillas throughout the city, I have heard in Argentina have around 40 meat cuts.... surly pioneer of asado!
Gastronomic scene in Buenos aires, I was particularly interested in two restaurants, one is La vineria de gualterio bolivar and the other is Aramburu. Unfortunately I can't find home page of La vineria de gualterio bolivar, but the link below you can find some old food pics from food blogger of both of the restaurants.
I had fortune to stage at Aramburu for 2 days. The setting of Aramburu was similar to Baume right before I left, 1 dish washer, chef on the pass and 3 on line, total of 5BOH with medium kitchen, two degustation menu with small dining room(up to 30 plus). Chef Aramburu used to work in Daniel & Charlie trotters in the U.S. and about same age as me. It was quite interesting to talk to him and seeing his craft. Here I like to say thank you again for chef Aramburu and the rest of the team. Gracias, wish you the best on 'new project'!!
